The X can have 4 custom mappings you can set using novation components. The pro does not. That said-- I dig the Launchpad Pro MK3 a lot. The Fixed Length option is a godsend, as well as the play/stop button. I still love my original Launchpad Pro, and use it regularly (with the Launchpad Pro 95 script for Ableton, which RULES step-sequencing, too) The Launchpad Mini Mk 3’s about as small as you can get and still be usable.

Sep 04, 2015 · Hi everyone. This is my first post here, but I have been reading threads on this forum for a long time. I am deciding between an Ableton Push and the new Launchpad Pro for production. The Launchpad is supposed to be cheaper and a better deal, but I was given the opportunity to get the Push new for $400.

Most of the projects have poor (if any) documentation and no way to determine a project's worth easily. The fastest way to do so with LaunchPad would be to download the project and look through the code manually, which is quite tiresome.
